Thieves look for easy chances. These tips can help you stay safe:

- 🔐 Close and lock ground floor windows and doors when you’re not in the room
- 🚨 Use your burglar alarm when you go out or go to sleep
- 🧾 Shred (cut up) papers like bills and bank letters before putting them in the bin
- 🧱 If you rent and something is broken (like a window or lock), tell your landlord
- 💡 Use a lamp timer when you’re not home — you can buy one at shops like Wilko or Argos

🔊 Noise
Be kind to your neighbours! Some noise is OK, but very loud noise between 11pm and 7am is a problem. Report Daytime Noise (8am–5pm)

You may be asked to keep a noise diary. If there’s enough proof, the council may take legal action. Report Night-Time Noise (5pm–3:30am)
